The plot is located in a quiet area of Chania, quite close to the area of Dikastiria and with direct access to the airport of the prefecture. Although it is located within the urban fabric of the city, the existence of adjacent open outdoor public spaces, gives the opportunity of a quiet space both short-term and long-term stay. For this reason, the composition tried to adapt both to the special characteristics of the narrow, polygonal plot and to the owner’s desire for spacious spaces with access to the view and addition of green elements.

The location within the plot was made in order to ensure the best orientation, while having the necessary free space. For this reason, the building was chosen to be adjacent to parts of the rear boundaries, leaving at the entrance of the plot the necessary living space to be able to breathe. The Pilotis configuration offers, in addition to the possibility of parking, the space to enable the building to develop at the levels above the ground floor, leaving the necessary space for the formation of planting. The four apartments have been designed to meet the requirements of their tenants, while their relaxation areas offer privacy and views at the same time.

The shades of the building are based on soft, earthy tones, while wooden elements have been used to shape the facades of the building. In addition, a special lighting study was made of the surrounding area and of the building itself, offering a different viewing experience during the night.
