The project concerns the radical renovation and reuse of a pre-existing two-story building of rental apartments, with the aim of transforming it into a modern short-term rental tourist accommodation, adapted to the modern needs of its visitors.

The building is located on the northern beach front of Georgioupolis with its main feature being the privileged view and direct access to the water.

Although there were the essential limitations of the existing structural elements of the building, the conversion of the eight apartments, into ten modern and functional rooms with access to private courtyards or balconies, was optimally achieved.

A key element of the architectural composition was the use of curvilinear shapes, which then followed all the decoration manipulations both internally in individual areas of the accommodation, and externally from the configuration of the sunshades up to the swimming pool.

Main materials of the composition are concrete, wood and local stone. The last two, as natural materials, shape the facades by transferring architectural elements of the past to the present.
